President Moise launched the construction of two bridges funded by Japan for more than $34 million

President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Dr. Jack Guy Lafontant Friday, January 19, 2018 officially launched the construction work of the bridges of the Croix-des-Missions and the Neuve road.


This groundbreaking ceremony, which took place in the presence of mayors and deputies from the communes of Croix des Bouquets, Tabarre and Cité Soleil, among others, and the Japanese ambassador to Haiti, Mr. Yoshiaki Hatta, was opportunity for President Jovenel Moïse to reaffirm the will of his administration to provide the country with adequate infrastructure for the development of Haiti.

The construction of these bridges at Croix-des-Missions and Cité Soleil is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JIPA) in the amount of US $ 34,345,636.36. The work, which will last 32 months, will be carried out by Hazama Ando Corporation.
