President Moise handed over heavy equipments to local officials of Artibonite and Hinche

President Moise on Thursday and Friday, distributed many heavy equipments, such as tractors, bulldozers, mechanic shovels among many others to the local officials of the Artibonite Department and Hinche.

The distributions of these essential equipments is part of the ambitious Caravan of Change initiative of the President, which aim to rehabilitate Haiti’s agricultural infrastructures as well as building new roads throughout the country.  When it comes to the latter, the President, Friday, in front of the inhabitants of Artibonite, the Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant and Senator Yourie Latortue, promised to build more than 4.000 miles of roads by the end of his remaining four years in office.

The Artibonite Department so far is the fourth region of the country which has benefited from these new materials distribution, which also will be used for the cleaning up of streets.
