Haitian President Jovenel Moise, accompanied with his wife, the First Lady Martine Moise, attended on the night of Thursday February 22, the first official reception of the new American Ambassador in Haiti, Michele J. Sison, at her official residence in Port-au-Prince, a day after she presented to the President her credentials.

New American Ambassador arrives in Haiti amid tension between the United States and Haiti

Many Ministers, business leaders as well as health and education workers accompanied President Jovenel Moise to the reception. In her welcome address, Ambassador Sison noted that she looks forward to working with President Moise and his team.
