President Jovenel Moise left Haiti for Italy on Wednesday, for a three-day official visit from January 24 to 28, 2018.
The President is accompanied with a large entourage which includes the recently elected Presidents of both chambers of Parliament, Senator Joseph Lambert and the MP Gary Bodeau.
President Moise will be received in audience by Pope Francis, before meeting his Italian counterpart, Sergio Mattarella and the Italian Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin.
The President of the Republic's Italian tour will end with a work meeting with the Director General of the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
