A pothole at the end of the runaway of the Cap Haitian International Airport, has caused major disruption of air travel in the second largest city of Haiti. Tuesday, Spirits Airlines was forced to delay its flight for several hours while American Airlines cancel travel plans for the day, all due to what is called a "depression" or pot hole in the runway, making it difficult for large planes to land or take off without some risks.
Since Its opening in 2013, the Cap Haitian International Airport has attracted major carriers such as American Airlines, Jet Blue and most recently Spirit Airlines, due to the growing demand for the historic city.
It has not yet been announced when this pothole will be fixed to prevent further disruptions.
