Haitian Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant, earlier today met with the OAS Special Representative in the country, Frederic Bolduc, to discuss the collaboration between the hemispheric organization and the Haitian State.

The meeting between the diplomat and the Haitian Premier came following a series of strong opposition stances of Haiti at the OAS against the implementation of sanctions against venezuela, over its political crisis.

Last week, Haiti, at special session held by the OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro, denounced what it considered to be a "Coup d'etat" against the Venezuelan government, despite a public warning of American Senator Marco Rubio.
