Breaking News: Haitian Police arrest four people who allegedly murdered Father Joseph Simoly

Haiti’s Police announced Monday that the perpetrators of father Joseph Simoly assassination were apprehended.

Speaking at a press conference, the Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Gary Desrosiers informed the public that four individuals were apprehended during a police operation with collaboration of the public. Two motorcycles and a handgun were seized as part of the sting operation.
The alleged criminals: Jonathan Servil, Jean Louis Julmer, Jocelyn Philogene and Jean Louis Pierre  are also suspected of being behind two more murders committed around April-july 2017.

The Chief of Police, Michel-Ange Gedeon, in a tweet congratulated the public for its “franc collaboration” which resulted in these arrests.
